Why Visit Da Nang

Da Nang sits on central Vietnam’s coastline with a beautiful riverfront. It feels modern, clean, and relaxed.

I loved the mix of beaches, mountains, and city energy. It is a superb base for the whole region.

Relax on My Khe Beach

My Khe’s soft sand and gentle waves invited long lazy days. I swam and strolled for hours here.

Early mornings draw joggers and swimmers in the cool air. It feels lived in and peaceful.

Cross the Dragon Bridge

The Dragon Bridge is a modern icon of Da Nang. Its curved dragon form arches over the Han River.

On weekend nights it breathes fire and water to a big crowd. I joined the excited locals to watch.

Walk the river promenade at dusk for the best views. The bridge glows brightly after dark.

See the Marble Mountains

Five rocky hills rise near the coast, ringed with caves and pagodas. I climbed them with delight.

Stone stairs wind past shrines, grottos, and sweeping viewpoints. The ocean views from the top are superb.

Visit Son Tra Peninsula

Son Tra, known as Monkey Mountain, rises green above the sea. I drove its winding roads happily.

Make time for the Lady Buddha statue and its temple views. The coast stretches away beautifully below.

Look for rare monkeys in the forest along the way. The scenery is wild and spectacular.

Taste Da Nang’s Food

Da Nang is famous for mi quang, a rich turmeric noodle dish. I still dream about my first bowl.

Try banh xeo, crisp savory pancakes, and fresh seafood by the beach. The flavors are bright and bold.

Street stalls and local restaurants serve it all at fair prices.

Day Trips from Da Nang

Historic Hoi An sits just a short drive south. I loved its lantern-lit old town and tailor shops.

To the north, the imperial city of Hue is an hour away. Both make excellent day excursions.

Hoi An is just a short ride south of Da Nang. I loved its lanterns, old houses, and riverside charm.
